Rivere Entertainment, LLC is a leading entertainment company in Louisiana, specializing in special event management and organization, including weddings and festivals, such as the Jean Lafitte Seafood Festival and the Island Strong Beach Fest in Grand Isle. We have experience in live entertainment, hosting fundraisers, festivals, and festival-like events; as well as establishing close relations with various clubs, and indoor and outdoor facilities.

Matthew Rivere, owner and founder of Rivere Entertainment, LLC, is experienced, energetic, and passionate. He possesses extensive experience in fundraising and event planning along with government management. Matthew is a natural leader with a mission to serve and help others. Having 13 years of experience in organizing and hosting fundraisers, he raised thousands of dollars to help babies born with birth defects.

His career began in 2010, at the age of 14. When most teenagers are playing sports and hanging out with friends, Matthew was trying to figure out the best way to help people in need. He organized and hosted his first benefit to help a Westwego man who suffered an acute medical incident of unknown origin and significant brain damage.

​

In 2012 and 2013, Rivere organized two benefits to help a baby born with TAR syndrome. The following year, he organized a benefit to help another baby born with a rare condition.

​

While helping people in need, Rivere honed his skills in his other passion - music. He is a self-taught keyboard player for various bands, having years of performing live entertainment to crowds all over the state.

​

When he was not playing music, he was representing his community’s best interests, and responding to his constituent’s needs, while serving as Westwego City Councilman District 4 from 2018-2021. Currently, he is the Executive Director for Friends of Bayou Lafourche, Inc., and Sargent- at- Arms for the Westbank Musician Hall of Fame, Inc.
